Hideki Matsuyama
Hideki Matsuyama
Hideki Matsuyama turned pro in 2013 but his obsession with golf started much earlier in his life. At the tender age of four years old Hideki’s father introduced him to the game and not long after he transferred schools in order to find an environment the was better able to nurture his emerging golf talent. His early career is studded with highlights including becoming the first Japanese amateur to compete at the Masters Tournament. He went on to win the Silver Cup at that competition. Shortly after turning pro Hideki achieved a top 10 finish at the 2013 U.S. Open and entered the top 50 professional golfers in the Official World Golf Rankings. Since then there have been an array of PGA Tour, European Tour and Japan Golf Tour wins though the elusive Major Championship wins continue to evade Mr Matsuyama. *Some of the clubs used by Hideki are not currently available at JamGolf so their nearest counterparts have been included below
