Brooks Koepka
2019 PGA Championship Winner Brooks Koepka
Brooks Koepka is rising to the top of golf and, despite an increasing number of wins, remains somewhat of an underdog going into most competitions. Four Mojors wins in the past few years have put the free agent nearer the top of the list of favourites for many fans. Being a free agent means Brooks gets to pick and choose the equipment he uses. A couple of headline club choices include the 2019 M5 driver, with which he can average almost 310 yards, and for the short game Brooks opts for his "Tour Only" Scotty Cameron Select Newport putter.
In 2017 Brooks Koepka added a victory at the U.S. Open to his list of victories by taking the competition with an incredible -16 score. That incredible performance tied Rory McIlroy’s tournament record and gave Brooks his first Major Championship win. The first time Brooks qualified for the U.S. Open was as an amateur in 2012 when he unfortunately missed the cut and, after turning pro that year, went on the to play in the Challenge Tour in Europe taking his first title in September 2012 at the Challenge de Catalunya. He followed this the following year with a victory at Montecchia Golf Open and then again at the Fred Olsen Challenge de España when he set the tournament record of -24 and won by a clear 10 strokes.
