PXG Dagger Putter
It’s said that style never goes out of fashion but that doesn’t mean that an old school blade type putter cannot be vastly improved without compromising the aesthetic. When you have no constraints on budget or imminent deadlines to produce a reworked classic the result is the PXG Dagger putter.
At first glance the PXG Dagger is a refined looking blade putter that follows the time honoured tradition of the type but on closer inspection it is abundantly clear that there is something a little different going on. Along the back edge of the club there are seven high density tungsten weights that increase the MOI far beyond what is normally possible with such a minimalist club. These weights can be moved and altered to suit the individual golfer. Behind the milled face insert is PXG’s proprietary TPE insert that changes the way the face interacts with the ball to make it more consistent and predictable.
PXG Dagger Shafts and Their Differences
The standard Dagger putter has no offset and a straight toe down angle making it ideal for golfers with an open to close arc putting style. The Dagger C is a center shafted version with a face balanced angle that is better suited to a golfer with a straight back, straight through type of putt.
