Titleist Irons T100, T200 and T300 Review

What’s new?

Changing up a successful iron range is a tricky business. The AP1 and AP2 irons have been around for the best part of a decade and the introduction of the AP3 was a great addition but many golfers, quite rightly, were left confused as to where each club fit in the playability scale. To address this Titleist have streamlined the range and made the numbering of the models much clearer. Whilst the MB and CB have remained with a great looking refit the AP1, 2 and 3 have been remodelled and replaced by the T100, T200 and T300 irons which means there really is an iron for every golfer.

Are the New Titeist Irons for me?

Without question there is an iron for anybody in this range. Titleist are still trying to shake the negative image of being a brand that only makes clubs for better players but the fact of the matter is they have made long, forgiving irons for years (especially in recent times with the AP1 and AP3). The T200 and T300 irons are both long and forgiving with the T200 being a sleeker version (less offset thinner topline) of the AP3 and the T300 being a great replacement for the AP1 featuring all the tech you would expect from a game improvement iron. At the less forgiving end of the spectrum the T100 is a really refined iron that is much easier on the eye for better players. The MB and CB once again look amazing and would be a great potential combo for a lower handicapper.
