Rickie Fowler
Rickie Fowler is somewhat of an anomaly in professional golf circles as he is almost entirely self taught and played exclusively on a driving range for many of his formative years. From state final victory in 2007 at the SW League final to winning the Fighting Illini Invitational at collegiate level Rickie’s atypical approach to golf did not appear to be a disadvantage. From such humble beginnings he continued to notch up impressive performances at the Western Junior, U.S. Amateur, U.S. Junior Amateur, The Walker Cup, The Sunnehanna Amateur and the Players Amateur. Rickie currently plays on the PGA tour and is sponsored by Cobra. In his most recent victory After starting 7 shots back, Rickie Fowler quickly made up for it with eight birdies on the front nine, and an additional three on the back for a course and career-record breaking 61 to capture the Hero World Challenge.
